The preliminary painting for my new series, “The Hunt is Forever” is finished. This fresh series explores new mediums and introduces animals in action. I am using gold leaf, acrylic and spray paint in these pieces.
This first piece is of a red fox in mid-jump hovering over a gold square with a bright red glow emanating from the square. Through the series, I’ll be introducing new animals and new geometric shapes previously unpainted as well as some of my old favorites. What I am most excited about this series is capturing the animals in action which brings a wonderful energy to the work.
