Sitting Ducks Unlimited original oil painting

Description

Sitting Ducks Unlimited is one in my series of wildlife preservation artworks. I hand built the wood substrate from birch and pine. I painted the ducks in a more realistic manner, but with some loose brush strokes. Three pyramids are etched into the bottom quadrant of green using graphite. Layers and washes of dark navy blue make up the part of the foreground and the background is filled with a hot pink. Three surreal cube shaped towers are depicted in the background.
