Rafinesque’s Bat colorful drawing

Can you hear me now? For October 2nd I bring you one of my all time personal favorites, Rafinesque’s Big-eared Bat. So much, that I painted one on the side of my van-which needs an update btw. Weighing in at a whopping 7-13 grams, this beetle eater and mosquito mangler seems to be resistant to the asshole syndrome known as “White-Nose”. Rafinesque Bats can be found here and there over the southeast US. Prefers derelict buildings, deep holes in decaying trees, and loves classical music. Especially Brahms.
