The Pallid Bat rolls in just in time for Day 27 of October Bats. Snagging insects, centipedes, scorpions, and even some small vertebrates. This intriguing bat seems to be impervious to scorpion venom. They hang out all along the western part of North America. It loves rock crevices. Thinks it’s the best thing since sliced bread. It is also an important pollinator of giant desert cacti.
