It came from the tomb! Today’s October bat is the Mauritian Tomb Bat. It creeps around sub-Saharan Africa. Hangs out in most habitat types and, get this, their kidneys are so freaking efficient, they can survive on minimal water intake.
Caves, tree holes are its favorite types of home. Moths, look out, you will be devoured.
