October is Bat Appreciation month so I am drawing a bat a day to celebrate earth’s only flying mammal. Today we have the Little Red Flying Fox.
This 1 lb. beach bum loves much of the coasts of Australia. Swamps and bamboo forests are this little feller’s main crib. If eucalyptus pollen and nectar were Tokyo, this bat would be Godzilla.
