Part of a series of expressive and brightly colored animal portraits. An extension of my animal works, I have loosened my approach with these and use thick, textured acrylic paint with a broad palette yielding an array of colors. These are acrylic on cradled wood panel. Signed, framed and wired to hang. This painting looks great in a variety of spaces including a child’s room, kitchen or bedroom.
