8th is great for celebrating Bat Appreciation Month. The Dwarf Dog-faced Bat is today’s featured bat. This goofy-grinned gambler rests their wings in South America. They use tree bark for blankets. Total hoarder but can pinpoint its prey through the clutter. Loves the rain, but not Seattle. Thinks dining alone is barbaric with a love for termites and moths.
