This is my piece for the “Love in All it’s Forms” group show at Kristen Ashley’s Artist Shop in downtown Athens.
This piece represents my love for and appreciation of wildlife. The otter is in a praying position symbolizing wildlife’s survival in an industrialized world, while the 3-dimensional silver hearts floating beneath symbolize a society where industrialization has taken over many aspects of our lives, including love and communication.
