I am so stoked to share some pretty rad news that just came in from AthFest Educates. I am thrilled to announce that I will be this year’s official AthFest theme artist!
I have had the pleasure of being an Athens resident since 2006. I have had an art booth and attended this righteous gathering of music, art, and kid-fun many times over the years. To be selected as the official 2025 AthFest Theme Artist is in the realm of epic proportions. Like catching a 20 foot wave off the coast of Maui.
As a full-time artist with a teacher wife and kid, Arts and Education is massively important to me. AthFest Educates funds arts education for K-12 students in Athens-Clarke County and their vision for every child to experience the enriching impact of the arts is a vision I 100% support. Access to arts education is fundamental to the development and wellbeing of our youth and community.
I will be working closely with AthFest Educates and the graphic design team at Kaptiv8 over the next few months to finalize the designs. I look forward to sharing the designs with you once all is complete.
