Common questions
How long does a commission take?
Most portraits are completed within 3–5 weeks from deposit. You’ll get a confirmed timeline when you book.
What photos do you need?
Well-lit, in-focus headshots work best. Natural light preferred. A few different angles helps — Will will let you know if he needs more before starting.
What if I don’t love it?
You see the finished painting before your final payment is due. Will works with you throughout the process — satisfaction is always the goal.
Do you paint animals other than pets?
Absolutely. Dogs, cats, horses, exotic animals, wildlife, and creatures of pure imagination. If it has a soul, Will can paint it.
What’s the split payment deal?
50% due at booking to hold your slot. The remaining 50% is collected when the painting is complete and you’ve approved it. No final payment until you’re happy.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Every painting ships fully insured and tracked. International collectors are welcome — shipping cost is calculated at checkout based on destination.
