A Dog Of Athens

I hope last week’s Quarantine Tips has helped you out this week. Let me know if there was something in particular for the tips that has helped you out. I would love to hear from you and know how you are doing.

For me, I am keeping busy with my upcoming series Dogs of Athens. This is a celebratory series featuring some of Athens finest canines. I thought sending this time-lapse video (see below) and Bubba’s background might brighten your day! So without further delay, say hello To BUBBA!

Lover of: Peeing on the living room floor with no warning. Eating other animals poop. Resting his massive head on his human’s shoulder, as if to say “thanks”.

From Bubba’s human: “Bubba was seized from his original owners twice and ended up at the county pound for neglect. He was adopted from athens Clarke county animal control at the age of 3 months. I would perhaps imagine that his owners believed he would turn out to be a lab given his appearance at that age. He was returned to the rescue that pulled him at the age of 10 months after having been crated by his owners for 12 hours a day. His owners claimed they no longer wanted him because they were pregnant. By the way, he clearly turned out to be a pitbull. Bubba is the most wonderful dog with children with special needs. It is so unfortunate that his former owners did not recognize his incredible potential. Their loss was my gain. Bubba has the sweetest temperament of any dog I have ever known.”
