Fifty Feathers

Hello and welcome to the Fifty Feathers in Fifty Days project! My name is Will Eskridge and I am a contemporary animal artist residing in Athens, GA. I am inviting you to participate in this new art project to further connect with you and give you the opportunity to acquire exclusive art. The paintings will be oil on wood panel.

These paintings will only be available initially through my email list. They will not be available through outside galleries, etc. These paintings are available to you, first.

The Quick Rundown:

1. I will be making 50 original pieces of art for 50 days. One painting will be released each day for 50 days.

2. Each piece is just $50, but only for the day it is released. After that day, the price raises to $100.

3. The pieces will be sold exclusively through my email list. I will send an email with a purchase link daily. So, the first person to purchase gets it. (If you are already on my general email list, contact me and let me know you’d like to be added to the 50 Feathers project)

FAQs

1. How many pieces of art are you doing?

I will be making 50 total pieces. Each piece will focus on the feather of a bird. No bird feather will be repeated, i.e., this project will cover the feathers of 50 different species.

2. Are they all just $50?

Each piece is $50 for the day it is released. If a piece does not sell the day it is released, the price will then raise to $100 the next day at 12:00 a.m. I want to share my art in order to generate some buzz and excitement. Most of all, I am doing this because I want to start a relationship with you.

3. What size are the pieces?

Each piece measures 12 x 5.5 inches. The pieces are oil on wood panel. Each piece features a recessed hole on the back for easy hanging. You will receive an original, hand-painted, numbered, and signed piece of art.

4. Why feathers?

All birds, and only birds, have feathers. As my affinity with animals grows I am constantly amazed by our non-human cousins. Like my fifty eyes project, I want to explore the similarities as well as the differences among all animals.

5. Will you ship outside the U.S.?

I will do it if you will pay for shipping. Send me your address when you purchase a piece and I will send you an invoice. Shipping is included for U.S. addresses.

6. How do I pay?

I am accepting payment through Paypal. Let me know if you have another preference.

7. Awesome! I signed up, when does it start?

You will receive the first email with the first painting on May 15th, 2018.
